Baltimore County fire station struck by gunfire, officials say

A Baltimore County fire station was struck by gunfire Tuesday night, fire officials told 11 News. No one was injured when someone fired shots at the Eastview Fire Station No. 15, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. Investigators believe there is no active threat to the fire department's members after the incident, fire officials told 11 News. The fire department sent a statement to 11 News, saying, in part: "The Baltimore County Fire Department assures everyone that the safety and wellbeing of its members and residents remains a top priority. We commend the professionalism and resilience demonstrated by members during this event, thank the Baltimore County Police Department for its immediate response, and remain dedicated to serving the community with pride and determination."
