PHOTO: A firefighter was taken to the hospital after he was involved in a house fire in Harford County on Saturday night. On April 20 around 9:44 p.m., crews responded to a house fire on 2017 Jennings Lane, Darlington, in Harford County. The home is one of approximately 350 'cabins' located along the banks of the Susquehanna River. The owner, Bryan S. Ullman, was at the cabin earlier in the day; however, he was not home when the fire was discovered. 50 firefighters worked together to extinguish the fire, and it took almost two hours to put out. One Darlington VFC firefighter sustained smoke inhalation and exhaustion. He was transported to Bayview Medical Center for evaluation. He was admitted and is listed in stable condition. The cabin is a complete loss, according to officials.
