VIDEO/PHOTO: Firefighters battled a car fire along I-291 in Springfield on Tuesday. Springfield fire officials said that the incident occurred near Exit 4 on the westbound side of the highway. No injuries were reported. The fire caused traffic to be reduced down to one lane while crews worked to put out the fire and clear the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad.
