Shreveport firefighters responded to an early morning fire at the Linwood Homes Apartments on Bernstein Avenue. At least 18 units responded to the blaze around 6:15 Tuesday morning. No injuries have been reported. The Linwood Homes apartment complex is currently not in operation and no electric utilities are servicing the property. The building was involved in a fire last month and had already sustained severe fire and structural damage. The official cause of Tuesday's fire remains under investigation. This complex is owned by Amar Shreveport Holdings, which is the company that owns The Pines and Villa Norte. Both are at the center of complaints of unlivable conditions at Shreveport apartment complexes.
