The New Orleans Fire Department responded to a deadly fire on Sunday night.
According to NOFD, the fire started at a home on Cohn Street.
Firefighters were told that a person was trapped inside. After a search of the home, NOFD said they were unable to locate anyone inside.
NOFD extinguished a fire of a shed when they found the body of a 67-year-old man.
According to the fire department, the resident of the home used the shed as a mancave and was watching a game with a friend when he entered the home.
The resident of the home smelled smoke and called 911 when he found the shed on fire.
NOFD said there was only one way to enter the shed, and that it suffered heavy fire damage. The fire remains under investigation.
