The Baton Rouge Fire Department was called to a reported car fire overnight. Firefighters arrived at Nicholson Dr. and South Blvd. around 2:45 a.m. and found a car engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and there were no reported injuries related to this crash. Members of the Baton Rouge Police Department were also spotted at the scene. BRPD says the vehicle hit a light pole prior to bursting into flames.
