Investigators with the Shreveport Fire Department's Fire Prevention Bureau responded to the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center Wednesday afternoon to check a suspicious package that was leaking an unknown liquid. VA Police said the package was discovered in the hospital's mailroom. Firefighters said the package and its contents were harmless.
