Woman injured in south Wichita house fire

The Wichita Fire Department battled a house fire in the 800 block of South Emporia Tuesday night. Captain Chad Dunham of the Wichita Fire Department stated that the flames were contained in one of the bedrooms in the two-story house. A woman was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The cause of the fire is unknown.
