VIDEO: Fire engulfs Playmakers Sports Bar and Grill in Chanute, Kansas Tuesday night. The Chanute Fire Department responded to a fire at the restaurant around 5:13 p.m. Crews found the building with smoke billowing out of the second-story window of the rear of the building. Firefighters from Iola and Parsons provided mutual aid. The Chanute Fire Department remained on the scene overnight to extinguish any hot spots. There’s no word yet on what caused the fire. The investigation has been turned over to the Kansas Fire Marshal’s Office.
