Saturday morning, the Tell City Fire Department raised the American Flag in memory of Larry A. James, a longtime member of the Central-Perry Volunteer Fire Department. James passed away on Tuesday and will be remembered by many for his role as President of the fire department for 40 years. Tell City officials say James contributed thousands of hours to the emergency response in the Perry County community. “Hats off to Larry and all our community safety partners with local fire departments,” said a spokesperson with the Tell City Police Dept. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Huber Funeral Home in Tell City.
