VIDEO: A three-year-old boy was killed Monday in a house fire in Munster. Firefighters responded to the 900 block of Cornwallis Lane around 11:15 a.m. Flames could be seen in the back of the home. The structure sustained significant damage as seen from SkyCam9. A neighbor who is close with the family said the child’s mother was outside of the home screaming her little boy and husband were still inside. “They went running into the house and grabbed the husband and pulled him out,” Bo Wojtowich said. “He was laying on the driveway in front of me and I said ‘Are you ok?’ And he said ‘No my son is still in there!’ and he ran back into the house. Two people were taken to the hospital in unknown conditions. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and hasn’t been released.
