Fishers Fire Chief Steven Orusa and EMS Division Chief Steve Davison have been awarded the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association President’s Award and EMS Officer of the Year, respectively. Chief Orusa actively participates in the promotion of safety for Hoosier firefighters as well as enhancing the capabilities of fire departments across the state through legislation and partnerships. He is often called upon to speak in front of state lawmakers as a subject matter expert. His efforts continue to promote the safety and well-being of Indiana and as such, has been recognized by International Association of Fire Chiefs President Chief Sink, and the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association.
