Crews called to small fire at Evans Elementary School in Evansville

VIDEO: Crews put out a fire at Evans Elementary School in Evansville. Dispatch says a fire started in the boiler room around 10:30 Thursday Night. Officials say a second shift custodian noticed smoke in a hallway and flames coming from the boiler room. We’re told firefighters were able to get things under control in about 20 minutes. Investigators say the cause of the fire was from an electric motor and is classified as accidental. No one was hurt and they say there was little damage to the building.
