A fire was extinguished at a New Carlisle concrete supplier on Thursday, according to the New Carlisle Fire Department.
Officials were called to Smith Ready Mix on Edison Road around 12:20 p.m. for reports of a fire.
The fire was contained to a sand heater outside of the building, according to the fire department.
Another fire at a residence was then reported, also on Edison Road, officials said.
The fire department said that all occupants made it out safely.
