Princeton Fire Territory trustees tabled discussion of a leaking fire station roof, a lightning-fried alarm system and whether they should keep or sell a ladder truck Tuesday. Princeton Mayor Greg Wright asked PFT Chief Mike Pflug whether the status of the warranty will be extended on a new ladder truck that Pflug traveled to take delivery of in January. Pflug reported that eight hours into the drive back to Princeton, the truck had issues and he contacted the manufacturer. The truck is being repaired in Pennsylvania. Pflug gave the board a copy of a letter of apology from the company, noting that the warranty starts with the final delivery. The board also asked about the cost of equipping the new aerial truck versus using equipment from an older aerial truck that would be sold.
