A Danville man was airlifted to a hospital following a house fire Wednesday morning. Crews were called to the house, which is located in the 1600-block of Cleveland Avenue, around 8:30 a.m. after reports of a house explosion. Fire Lieutenant Chris McMahon says that one man was inside the home when the fire occurred. He was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital with burns to more than 50 percent of his body and is listed in stable condition.
