Man, 81, Injured In Rollover Crash In McHenry County

An 81-year-old man was hospitalized after firefighters had to extricate him from his vehicle following a two-vehicle rollover crash near Hebron on Sunday. The Hebron-Alden-Greenwood Fire Protection District and McHenry County Sheriff's Office responded around 10:30 a.m. Sunday to the intersection of Route 47 and O'Brien Road in unincorporated Hebron for a vehicle crash with injuries. McHenry County Sheriff Spokesman Tim Creighton said an investigation showed that a black 2012 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling southbound on Route 47. Meanwhile, a blue 2012 Chevrolet Spark, driven by an 81-year-old Rockford man, was traveling westbound on O'Brien Road.
