There were no injuries resulting from a Sunday morning barn fire in rural Peoria County. Peoria firefighters were called to Koerner Road and Charter Oak Road shortly after 8 a.m. En route, crews were advised the fire could be in the jurisdiction of Dunlap Fire Protection, which had been dispatched to the scene. Arriving Peoria crews performed a defensive operation. Dispatch then informed Peoria Fire the blaze was in Dunlap Fire’s district. Once on the scene, Dunlap Fire assumed all operations. Peoria firefighters cleared the scene with no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
