A four-year-old boy is in serious condition after a car accident involving a pedestrian in Kaneohe on Saturday afternoon, according to Honolulu EMS officials. Honolulu EMS said ambulance crews responded to a motor vehicle accident on Waihee Road near Kahalu'u Elementary School just before 1:30 p.m. Officials said the four-year-old boy was treated by paramedics with advanced trauma skills and transported in serious condition to a local area trauma hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
