A teenage girl — one of two teen girls who suffered serious injuries from an early Wednesday morning auto accident in Hagåtña— has died, according to Guam Police Department spokeswoman Officer Berlyn Savella. Four teens — two girls ages 16 and 17 and two boys ages 15 and 16 — were taken to hospitals just after 1 a.m. Wednesday. GPD’s Highway Patrol Division’s preliminary report said that a blue sedan traveling east on West O’Brien Drive by Cassidy’s Insurance struck a speed bump on the roadway. The vehicle launched and collided with a concrete utility pole, striking the left rear of the vehicle. Guam Fire Department spokesman Lt. Nick Garrido said GFD units transported the males — both with minor injuries — and one of the females to Guam Memorial Hospital. The second female was taken to Naval Hospital and later transported to GMH.
