A fire station has been left without water after a main broke in DeKalb County. The water main erupted Tuesday afternoon along Brockett Road, between East Ponce de Leon Avenue and Stone Mountain Freeway. Channel 2's Tom Jones is out at the scene and learned that Fire Station #4 has moved firefighters to other stations because of the main break. A tenant at a nearby apartment complex took jones inside her unit where the carpet was soaked, and her floor had been filled with water because of the main break. Georgette Allard said her furniture was destroyed. “When I opened my door, it was like a whole storm came rushing through my door, just filled up. And I had to come running out, thought that the fire alarms were going off. I thought it was going to be a fire and I just ran out and have been out here ever since,” Allard said.
