VIDEO: One person has been injured after a car slammed into two other vehicles and a home in Lehigh Acres, igniting a fire.
Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue crews responded to the scene at Leeland Heights Boulevard East and Richmond Avenue North Monday afternoon before 3.
There was structural damage to the duplex, but thankfully the people inside the home are okay. The driver of the crashed vehicle did go to the hospital.
WINK News spoke with a neighbor who didn’t want to be on camera about the scene outside their home.
“It could have been tragedy if went inside my house. You know, my son was in his room. But as I say, this road alone is deadly - they speed up and down this road all day. It’s an accident that's happened here regular,” the neighbor said.
