W. Donald Deputy Jr. passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. Donald was born in Milford, Del. to the late, Wilbert Donald Deputy Sr. and Janet Melvin. Donald worked as a superintendent for the Sandtown Landfill. Donald was a dedicated life member of the Felton Community Fire Company, where he previously served in many capacities, including Treasurer and Chief Engineer. He was affectionately known as Trout around the firehouse. A celebration of Life Service for Donald, with full fireman's honors, will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 1 p.m. with a visitation starting at 11 a.m., at the Felton Community Fire Company, 9 E. Main St., Felton, DE 19943. Interment will take place at Hopkins Cemetery, Felton.
