There were no injuries reported when firefighters battled an attic blaze Monday morning, according to fire officials.
Fire units were dispatched to the 1,000 block of Washington Street for a reported structure fire around 10:30 a.m.
The first units on the scene reported smoke coming from the roof and attic windows.
Two hose lines were stretched to the attic, where firefighters found flames throughout as some fire companies vented the roof, according to Middletown Professional Firefighters Local 1073.
Officials said no injuries were reported.
