This year, there will be no Memorial Day parades to honor our fallen soldiers. Due to the need for social distancing, such celebrations will not be possible in 2020. The Danbury Fire Department was determined to honor our heroes, and created a powerful video as their 2020 Memorial Day tribute.
The Department said in a Facebook post,
"This year, we will need to observe the holiday in a slightly different fashion while holding true our history and honoring those we’ve lost. To adjust to the times, the Danbury Fire Department created a special way to honor and remember our fallen military veterans who selflessly gave their lives for our country. We called upon our own firefighters who are veterans to put together a tribute video that does just that."
