Denver Police (DPD) arrested two people after a crash that injured seven people Saturday morning. Just before 3 a.m., both DPD and the Denver Fire Department were called to a crash at the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Jewell Avenue. When they arrived at the scene of the crash, they found six people who had to be extracted by firefighters. Police said a total of seven people were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital for their injuries. During their investigation, Denver Police learned that a man driving a Honda Accord at high speed down Federal Boulevard hit a Toyota Camry that was going east on West Jewell Avenue. Police said it appeared that the driver of the Honda was street racing at the time of the crash. The police department said the woman driving the Toyota was not involved in the street racing.
