Due to an increase in the volume of calls to Douglas Pass and places west of Loma, the Lower Valley Fire District is adding onto their #32 Fire Station in Loma. It will be located on the 1300 block of 13 Road, and it will be staffed 24 hours a day by Firefighters/EMT's. Construction is expected to be completed by December 31 and will start staffing at the beginning of January 2020.
