A dog was miraculously saved after fleeing into a home fully engulfed in flames Monday afternoon, the Lemoore Volunteer Fire Department Association announced.
Firefighters say they responded to a structure fire in Lemoore where, upon arrival, they found a home fully engulfed in flames.
While on the scene, fire crews were notified that a family dog had run back inside the fully engulfed home.
After crews put out the flames, as they conducted a scene assessment they moved some furniture around and reported the dog was found under a bed curled in the back corner. Firefighters say they quickly removed the dog from the scene to cool her down and provide her with some oxygen.
