The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) is proud to announce the launch of its ground ambulance transport service, which officially began on October 1, 2024, at 8:00 am. After nearly a decade of collaboration and advocacy, this service is set to provide a boost to the region’s emergency medical capabilities. CAFMA’s ambulances will enhance emergency response throughout Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, and surrounding areas, contributing to a more effective emergency medical system. This initiative addresses the increasing demands for emergency services and the challenges posed by response delays due to limited transport resources. By offering dedicated emergency transport, CAFMA aims to enhance the overall quality of care in the region.
