Fire Department Community Risk Reduction Division believes fire safety is everyone's responsibility.
The CRR team was out early Monday for fire extinguisher training with Bullhead City Police Chief Robert Trebes and his staff in the parking lot at 1255 Marina Boulevard.
"Fire extinguisher training is one of the many services that our Community Risk Reduction Division offers," said Lori Viles, BHCFD spokeswoman. "Fires are extremely dangerous. When employees/citizens are trained to respond properly to a fire hazard, they can immediately suppress and extinguish workplace fires, helping to minimize the overall damage. In addition, fire extinguisher training provides the tools and education needed to help keep others safe."
The primary goals of the CRRD are life safety and property protection, Viles said.
