PHOTO: The community knows the members of Fry Fire District as the men and women who keep them safe. They are often the first people someone in an emergency will see, and beyond saving lives, Fry Fire regularly does community outreach in the form of classes and education.
Each year, the fire district recognizes their own for their achievements, hard work and passion for their careers.
For 2018, Fry Fire honored team mechanic Jimmy Ayers, engineer/paramedic Phillip Allred and firefighter/paramedic Mike Shamas for all they do. Though all three recipients are highly deserving of their recognition, they were all humbled by it and gave a lot of credit to their whole team; a group who have become their second families.
