VIDEO: Investigators suspect arson after four homes on one street went up in flames.
According to a sheriff’s dispatcher, four homes caught fire Wednesday, Sept. 14, just before 9 p.m. on Holden Street in Diaz.
Deputies, along with Newport and Arkansas State Police responded to the scene.
Officers said the homes have been abandoned for 20 years and were falling in. They suspect it was arson. No one was hurt in the fire.
This is the same street where on Sunday, Aug. 28, fire crews responded to two house fires. The Diaz Fire Department said they were abandoned and no one was hurt.
