Firefighters from across the State of Arkansas recently participated in the Arkansas Professional Firefighters Bass Club Tournament held on Lake Dardanelle on Friday, April 29, 2022.
The tournament is one of nine bass fishing tournaments that are held by the Arkansas Professional Firefighters Bass Club (APFFBC) throughout the year. This year, the club opened membership to any professional first responder including firefighters, law enforcement officer or EMS personnel. Teams competing in the tournament consist of various first responders from across the State of Arkansas who enjoy the competitive nature of tournament fishing.
The club offers the opportunity for first responders to enjoy a day of competitive fishing with others in their field. The club and the tournaments bring brothers and sisters in their professions together to not only learn from each other, but to also build camaraderie among fire departments, police departments, and emergency medical services across the state.
