VIDEO: Family, friends, and firefighters are paying tribute to a volunteer firefighter killed in a crash last week. 60-year-old Thomas Graham died in a motorcycle crash. He was also a beloved member of the Calcedeaver Volunteer Fire Department. Better known as “Skeeter” to his friends, Thomas Graham is remembered as a man they couldn’t do without.
“He’d give you the shirt off his back, a stand-up guy, anytime you’d call on him in need he was always there, call him he’d answer, if he didn’t pick up he’d always call you right back,” said volunteer firefighter Justin Ballentino. In addition to his dedication, friends said he also lifted other people up. “I don’t care what kind of day you were having, or what kind of moment you were in, if he showed that smile, I don’t know there was something about it,” said Firefighter AJ Bozell.
