Emergency crews are investigating after a building in Tuscumbia was struck by lightning Wednesday afternoon. Lightning hit just after 3:30 p.m. at an apartment building off Highway 20. WAFF is on the scene and officials say they are still trying to find the source of the burning. While they’re investigating, authorities advise everyone in the area to be cautious and to avoid the location if possible.
