A massive fire at a Cullman business is out.
The fire started around 3:30 Thursday morning at Professional Coatings, Inc on 3rd Avenue SE.
Fire Chief Brian Bradberry tells WBRC the fire was in a storage building. There were 55 gallon drums in the building, but most were empty. Several explosions, mostly from the drums, happened while firefighters tried to put out the flames.
One firefighter suffered heat exhaustion. He was treated at the scene and then later went back to work in a limited capacity.
There was no damage to the main building.
