VIDEO: Eight-year-old Romeo Weaver had a dream of being a firefighter, and the Gulfport Fire Department made that happen.
Though there have been several tests, Romeo is technically still undiagnosed, but his mother says they are labeling it cerebral palsy.
She added that before he caught COVID, Romeo was able to feed himself and use his walker, but after that, things went downhill.
“So far, no answers, but it is horrible seeing him going through the process of taking out the blood,” Yesenia Pineda said. “But like sometimes I hope I get a relief to see maybe if there is a diagnosis, but if there is no diagnosis, then hopefully in the future, as his doctor says, that something might be discovered to have a diagnosis because there’s a lot of tests that are not run because of the technology today.”
