VIDEO: When you call 911 in Lexington, there’s a good chance you’ll get some of the best first responders in the world coming to your rescue. Firefighter Sarah McGill is one of them. McGill won the women’s division in a worldwide competition hosted in Saudi Arabia called “The Toughest Firefighter Alive. In the video, WKYT’s Jeremy Tombs and Photojournalist Darnell Crenshaw have McGill’s story and how this Kentucky woman hopes her feat will inspire the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hire more women firefighters.
