A trio of YouTubers made their firefighting debuts in Denver with South Metro Fire Rescue. The Try Guys first appeared in Buzzfeed videos trying various odd-ball activities — anything from baking bread to recreating images of famous male icons. But they have since left the media giant and started their own company: 2nd Try. The trio appeared in a YouTube video published Saturday that features the Parker facility and members of the South Metro Fire Rescue crew. The group, originally made up of four members, is making one last push with three of its original members: Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld and Eugene Lee Yang. As part of their last hurrah, Kornfeld, Yang and Habersberger joined South Metro Fire Rescue for one day to try out the agency’s high-intensity fire academy, which ordinarily takes 20 weeks to complete.
