Update: Crews return to battle reignited industrial fire

VIDEO: Firefighters returned to a recycling facility on the cityโ€™s south side after Mondayโ€™s massive blaze rekindled. The flames reignited around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at the industrial building in the 4100 block of Bradley Rd.

Crews had to bring out the ladder trucks to extinguish the newest hot spots. Cleveland Fire Lt. Mike Norman said a tall pallet of cardboard in the middle of the warehouse was likely ignited by embers falling from the roof. The three-alarm fire first broke out around 1 p.m. Monday. At least 80 firefighters responded to the scene. The original cause for the fire was workers grinding metal while working on one of the loading docks. The sparks ignited dust and cardboard.
