Teton County structure fire displaces occupants

A structure fire on Deer Drive early on Sunday morning resulted in evacuations but no injuries, according to an announcement by Teton County. Teton County Emergency Dispatch was contacted around 5:38 a.m. on Sunday, June 15, with reports of a structure fire at a mixed occupancy building, according to the County. Jackson Hole Fire/EMS responded, arriving at the scene at 5:47 a.m. and beginning suppression efforts.

Fire/EMS had controlled the fire by 6:03 a.m., per the press release. All occupants were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported.ย Thirty-five firefighters were involved in the response, along with 10 apparatus. Law enforcement officers assisted with evacuations. Temporary housing and resources for the displaced residents have been arranged through the American Red Cross, with help from Fire/EMS and Teton County Emergency Management.
