Guam police investigating auto-pedestrian crash in Toto

A man is in stable condition following an auto-pedestrian collision in Toto late Tuesday evening. The Guam Police Department is investigating the pedestrian-involved crash that occurred at around 10:12 p.m. on Tuesday on Route 8 in Toto. According to a press release sent by GPD on Wednesday, a vehicle traveling east on the outer lane of Route 8 in Toto struck a pedestrian walking in the outer lane. “Medics transported the pedestrian to the Guam Memorial Hospital, where he is in stable condition. Outer eastbound lanes were temporarily closed and reopened around 12 a.m.,” the release stated. The case remains open and is being investigated by GPD’s Guam Highway Patrol Division.
