Guam police identify deceased motorcyclist, investigating crash

Police are investigating an auto-motorcycle crash in front of Agat Marina on Route 2 on Sunday night that left motorcyclist James Nededog, 37, dead. Nededogโ€™s next of kin have been notified, a Monday afternoon statement from the Guam Police Department said. The case is open and was forwarded to the GPD Highway Patrol Division. Nededogโ€™s death marks Guamโ€™s 15th traffic fatality in 2025. GPD stated that units from the Southern Precinct Command responded to the accident call, received at 8 p.m. Sunday.

A vehicle operated by a woman was turning left out of Agat Marina when Nededog collided with the vehicle, GPD stated. Nededog was unresponsive and CPR was conducted on the scene, according to the department. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:46 p.m. The Guam Fire Department and Guam Memorial Hospital Dr. Karl Meyer made the call, GPD stated. โ€œThe Guam Police Department offers its sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Nededog,โ€ the department said.

Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lt. Nick Garrido, earlier stated that โ€œdespite resuscitative efforts, due to the severity of injuries sustained, care was terminated by GFD paramedics via medical control.โ€ It was around 7:59 p.m. when GFD units responded to Route 2 in front of Agat Marina for a reported auto vs motorcycle collision with โ€œserious injuries.โ€ Upon GFD personnelโ€™s arrival, they found the motorcyclist โ€œpulseless and breathless.โ€
