VIDEO: A truck hauling hay bales overturned on I-79 in Marion County Sunday afternoon. The accident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. at the 130 mile marker, just before the Harrison County line, in the southbound lanes, according to the Valley Volunteer Fire Department. When crews arrived on scene, they found a pickup truck and trailer hauling round bales on its side into the cable barriers. Both occupants of the vehicle had gotten out of the vehicle with the help of Good Samaritans and were not injured, officials said. I-79 South was restricted to a single lane for approximately three hours while the accident was cleaned up. Hillbilly Towing helped recover the truck, trailer and hay bales safely alongside firefighters, officials said. The Marion County Rescue Squad, West Virginia State Police and White Hall Police assisted the Valley VFD on scene.
