PHOTO: Cabell County leaders have selected the next head of Emergency Medical Services. Veronica Swope will serve as the county’s new EMS director, according to a social media post from the Cabell County Commission. “Veronica will serve our residents well and lead an incredible team at EMS,” the post read. Swope will replace longtime director Gordon Merry who announced his retirement.
