Crews in SeaTac battle fire that damaged 2 homes

VIDEO/PHOTOS: Firefighters worked to fully contain a three-alarm fire that damaged two homes Tuesday afternoon in SeaTac, fire officials said. The fire drew a large emergency response after the initial call came around 4:30 p.m. at a home in the 21000 block of 33rd Ave. South in SeaTac. Two homes are now damaged, and everyone inside the homes were able to make it out safely, fire officials confirmed. The fire began as a garage fire that spread to a neighboring house, fire officials said. The flames and smoke from the fire could be seen along I-5, and the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) cameras began showing the smoke and the fire response. At 7 p.m., Puget Sound Fire posted an update on X, noting that crews extinguished the fire and were also working to extinguish hot spots.
