3 people, 4 dogs displaced after fire in Virginia Beach

Three adults and four dogs were displaced after an early morning fire damaged a mobile home in the Pembroke area on Thursday, according to the Virginia Beach Fire Department. Fire crews responded to the 20 block of Magnolia Street at 3:37 a.m. When firefighters arrived four minutes later, they saw heavy smoke coming from the home. Firefighters had water on the flames by 3:45 a.m., brought the fire under control at 3:57 a.m., and marked it out at 4:08 a.m. No one was injured. Investigators determined the fire was accidental and caused by an electrical issue. The Red Cross is helping the residents with temporary housing.
