VIDEO: Firefighters from both sides of the border battled a massive blaze on St. Armand Road in Highgate Thursday night.
Our sources on the scene report that the fire originated in the garage and subsequently spread to the entire house, which is now considered a total loss.
Crews from Swanton, Franklin, and Sheldon responded from the Vermont side, and firefighters from Bedford, St. Armand, and Frealburg came across from Canada. The Highgate fire chief tells us there have been no injuries.
