PHOTOS: Growth in Kaysville has increased demand for public safety, according to Kaysville firefighters. On Sunday evening, the Kaysville Fire Department shared a social media update highlighting recent call volumes and showcasing several of their notable responses over the past few days.
Kaysville Fire officials said the department is on track to set a record for the number of calls requesting assistance. โIt has been another busy week for our department, with 70 total responses, for an average of 10 calls per day. Overall, the departmentโs call volume is 20 percent higher than at this time last year, placing Kaysville Fire on pace for its busiest year,โ the post read.
In the post, officials said itโs been โanother busy weekโ after firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire Sunday night. They said the fire was burning on the balcony of an apartment unit. โOur firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire before it caused significant damage,โ the post read.
