A person was injured in an early morning house fire in southwest Austin Tuesday. Austin Fire Department crews posted about the fire at 7307 Fire Cove on X around 4:41 a.m.
The resident self-extricated from the burning home and was transported by Austin-Travis County EMS for treatment of burns to their arms and legs, according to the department. Firefighters quickly knocked down the blaze and brought it under control. Crews then worked to extinguish remaining hot spots. No additional injuries were reported during the incident. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
